HOW TO WRITE IGNOU MTTM PROJECT REPORT?

If you want to know about ignou mttm project , we are providing information of ignou mttm project.

INTRODUCTION

The goal of the MTM (Masters in Tourism Management) is to sharpen research skills, provide a piece of practical knowledge to the learners. The course ofMasters in Tourism Management will help the learner to develop the managing capabilities. Obviously, this will majorly depend on the topic that the learners choose for the project.

The course aims to encourage students to participate in project work in an organization of the hotel industry to gain relevant experience. The project should be preceded by a proposal that needs approval by the guide followed by the subsequent submission.

The course covers both the theoretical as well as the practical needs of the experience.  The formulation of the curriculum is accordingly to broaden and add relevant values to the course.

While the theory adds knowledge, principles of operation and develops the best practices to carry out the duties efficiently, the practical experience aims to showcase an applicative sense of those theories, so that the appropriate working conditions are achievable.

OBJECTIVES OF IGNOU MTM (MTTM 16)SYNOPSIS AND PROJECT PROPOSAL

The objectives for making the MTTM 16 synopsis are as follows:

1. Identify and plan analysis problems;

2. Write an honest analysis proposal;

3. Identify and use acceptable analysis design;

4. Conduct scientific investigation in a very systematic way;

5. Collect and analyse the data;

6. Learn to use acceptable applied mathematics strategies.

PREPARATION OF IGNOU MTM (MTTM 16)SYNOPSIS OR PROJECT PROPOSAL

(In the MMTM – 16, Synopsis should be around 8-12 PAGES while the project report must contain 100-120 PAGES.)

The learners need to select a specific space within which they have an interest. Further consulting with the Guide, they need to pick out a specific topic for the project work.

The project proposal is an outline of the careful work to be undertaken by the learner.

(To clear the project report, the marking criteria is 40% out of 100)

The format for the project proposal:

1. The Title of the planned Project

2. Background of the Study

3. Literature Review

4. The principle of the Study

5. Objectives of the Study

6. The hypothesis of the study, if any

7. Research Method including Samples, Tests and/or Tools, Statistics

8. References/Bibliography

PREPARATION OF IGNOU MTM (MTTM 16 PROJECT/REPORT/THESIS/DISSERTATION

The size of the project report depends on the choice of the project and the way you want to carry it out.

The project report ought to be around 100 to 120 pages written in double space. The report must be on an A4 size sheet.

The following format should be followed to write the report:

S.NO.   HEADINGS  DESCRIPTION
1TITLE  The primary page of the report ought to state the title of the project, name of the candidate, address, enrolment number and year. 1. Certificate 2. Acknowledgement 3. Table of Contents
2INTRODUCTION  This section can introduce the problem. It provides the reader a chance to get to know about what the topic is all about, how did the subject emerge, and what you pick up the subject. The introduction should manage to tell the principle and purpose of the research, clearly.
3REVIEW OF THE LITERATURE  Review of literature is the massive amount of work done by earlier researchers that is printed within the form of books, journals, articles. It helps in generating ideas and developing significant queries for the analysis work.
4SIGNIFICANCE  The explanation of principle for carrying out a project is to be mentioned, under this heading.
5OBJECTIVE/ HYPOTHESIS  This should convey the various objectives or purpose of the analysis. For example, to study the impact of family environment on the self-concept of the students. A hypothesis is additionally provided that could be a tentative statement about the cause-and-effect relationship between the independent and dependent variables.
6METHODOLOGY  The method on an overall bases includes Sample, Tests/Tools, and Statistical Analysis. The size and nature of the sample can depend on the subject selected. Tests/ tools are to be selected based on the targets of the analysis. The data collected with the help of the tests/ tools are then analysed by mistreatment appropriately applied mathematics techniques.
7RESULT AND DISCUSSION  The findings of the research once the statistical analysis of data is reported must be in tabular and graphical form. It is further mentioned in the light-weight of the existing analysis studies. The implication of the findings is additionally discussed.
8CONCLUSION  Under this heading, the learner has to write the findings of the analysis, as a conclusion.
9DELIMITATION  The limitations of the project report or the research is mentioned here.
10SUGGESTIONSBased on the research findings, the learner will offer specific suggestions for more research to be carried out in the particular space.
11REFERENCES (APA STYLE)  References must be written in APA format. This necessarily has to be alphabetically listed.
